| Another spectacular night at the Badger Bowl. And by the end of the night we had extra particular reasons to be grateful to the great fans who came out to rock our world on this night. First reason, the weather. "Why is it that every time we play at the Badger Bowl it snows?" John asked aloud early in the show. Indeed, the blizzard-like conditions leading up to showtime appeared very intimidating (although admittedly not as intimidating at the tornadoes that threatened our BB show on May 10, 2003). Second reason, we SUCK! Well, I mean that our equipment sucks a lot of power and during the closing notes of "Home Sweet Home" we managed to blow a fuse. This kind of thing has happened a few times before and it's always a bummer and a big blow to the show's momentum, but this time it was much worse because the blown fuse was one of those BIG ones that fed most of the power to the stage and apparently the Badger Bowl didn't have a spare. Our crack technical team managed to rig an alternate power configuration, but it took over fifteen minutes to resume the show. And yet, it was as if we hadn't missed a beat. The crowd roared back to life along with our amplifiers and the show continued at full-throttle. Early on we noticed our old buddy Rolf in the crowd, apparently visiting from his new home in Colorado. We were really glad to see him because we knew that where ever he goes, lots of beautiful women follow. We're still trying to figure out his secret. Later on Rolf got up on stage and played guitar on "Once Bitten Twice Shy". Overall, we hope that we can bottle the magic from this crowd and bring it with us the Dry Bean Saloon in two weeks on March 25. 'See you there. --Josh

It had been since January since my last CP exposure and it was worth the wait. Ears are still buzzing from the "Rockin" time. Thanks for the great photo shots Monstro." Rolf: "Ahh, just like I remember. Thanks for the great show again, as always. I'm glad I could plan my vacation around your show. It was well worth it! And I really don't know what my secret is, but somehow I don't think your shows are lacking in beautiful women. Until next time." Bittersweeteus: "Everytime CherryPie plays at Badger Bowl, the heat intensity of the band mixed with the fireness of the fans, the place turns into a volcano ready to erupt. The bands performance was outstanding that it brought the fans inhibitions out. John with his provocative and sweltering movements, that even made the walls sweat, was able to keep everyone captivated through the night. This was definitely one hot, sweaty, and energized night!!" Rich: "I really enjoyed your show at the Badger Bowl in Madison. Friends recommended I go see you, but I didn’t know what to expect. You guys really rock! Some folks poke fun at the 80’s “hair bands” and their over-the-top covers turn into parody. Instead, you guys deliver in the true spirit of the music: fun, anthemic, hard/fast/loud, enthusiastic, and full of emotion. All this played with respect for a truly notable time and style. It is what I was into (and played in bands) in high school and college in the 80’s, so I can appreciate the honesty and musicianship in your show. Cherry Pie is the band that I wanted to be in back then. I found myself happily singing along with many kindred spirits in the crowd (without feeling guilty that I knew all the words). It was the most enjoyable show I have been to in a long time. I look forward to rocking out with you guys again!" angie: "WOW!!! The show was a BLAST!!!! You guys were GREAT!!!
