A Word from Josh: A bunch of Pie Nation die-hards made their way downtown to catch tonight's show. I hope we made it worth the trip. I know we certainly tried. Our efforts included modifying the set list with some requests including "Round and Round", "Run to the Hills", "18 and Life" and special performance of "Faithfully" dedicated to Ashley and Matt. Apparently they came to a Cherry Pie show on their first date one year ago and they danced together for the first time to our performance of the Journey classic that night. Now they are engaged and wanted to relive that moment. Ahhhhh, young love... so sweet and we're tickled to know that we played a small role in their courtship. Other parts of the show were good too and, although the place wasn't particularly crowded (people still seem hesitant to come downtown for their pieces of the Pie), we appreciated the enthusiasm of the 80s Rock fans in attendance. We look forward to bringing that enthusiasm outdoors for the upcoming Summer shows. See you out there. --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? : "" |
