| A Word from Josh: Shorties is not a big room, but the people who have come to rock with us during our first two appearances here seem to embody a special kind of crazy that we like very much. Before the show the sports fans among us enjoyed following the NCAA Men's Basketball "Final Four" games on the TVs over the bar. The weather, while not great, had warmed up enough for many people to hang out just outside the main door as part of their evening activities. This might help explain why the crowd, which was large and in charge for most of the first set, seemed to thin out quite a bit during the second set only to rebound in a big way and finish the night strong for the last three or four songs. Some in the crowd had seen us just last week when we played just a few miles up the road in Fond du Lac. Looking ahead, we'll be back in town to play at the Ripon Concert Series on Friday, June 9.
