A Word from Josh: This is an exciting time of year when the weather warms up and we look forward to some of the epic shows that we have scheduled for Summer. But in the meantime we have a couple more bar gigs to play. Just as in sports, it is sometimes a challenge to avoid looking past these shows. Fortunately it's pretty easy to get up for a show at the Saloon on Calhoun. This venue's layout, staff and location has resulted in several very successful shows for us as well as many other bands and tonight was no exception. Early birds got to hear us rehearse two new additions to the set list as a part of our sound check. We hadn't played "Shake Me" by Cinderella in over four years and tonight marked our first ever performance of "I Can't Stop Loving You" by Van Halen. Both songs feature the lovely and talented Kase "on bass" Villand on lead vocal. By showtime the room had filled in quite nicely with a fine assortment of 80s Rock enthusiasts and the energy level remained high all night. We had a solid Pie show on our hands. Thanks to everybody who has continued to support us throughout Wisconsin and we look forward to seeing you outside this Summer. --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? : "" |
