A Word from Josh:
On the way to the show I filled myself up with some typical fast food. Feeling stuffed, I arrived at the club and as I walked in I was ambushed by the thick aroma of their Friday night fish fry. I was instantly hungry again. Mmmmmmmmmmm... fish fry! The upstairs/balcony section of the building was occupied by a big triple birthday party. On the main level, the older dinner crowd was systematically being replaced by the rock fans in the hour leading up to show time. Sadly, as we prepared to play, today's tragic events in Paris hung over us (literally, with non-stop news coverage of the attacks on TVs mounted on the balconies above us). Tonight is the first of a big three-gig weekend for us. This is also the last weekend in which we are without the services of our lead singer Johnny Spandex who is expected back next week. Filling in tonight for the fifth and final time is our good friend Joey Gleesing who can normally be seen with his band The Now. He is a very talented singer and a fun guy to hang out with. We greatly appreciate his services in our time of need. Tonight's show went well and we look forward to returning here on February 5.     --Josh
