A Slice of the Pie |
A Word from Josh: My first ever visit to the Metal Grill was when Cherry Pie played there for the first time this past April. My second visit was eight days ago when I came with my wife and some friends to see Kip Winger. That was my wife's first Metal Grill experience and we both had so much fun it made us really look forward to returning for tonight's show. Unfortunately, the turn-out wasn't as good as last time. But, of course, we didn't let disappointing numbers prevent us from having a good time. At various points in the night there was sexy hijinx taking place on the dance floor which served to keep us entertained. And it's always fun to welcome our good buddy Quinton Kufahl on to the stage for a drumming cameo. He was in full Tommy Lee mode, you would have thought it was Halloween already, so it made sense to have him play some Motley Crue songs with us. The Metal Grill is a cool bar that treats us great and we feel like a good musical fit there. Let's see if we can rally a bigger crowd when we return on March 4. --Josh Were you at this show?
