A Word from Josh: For the fifth consecutive year we played each major festival in both Verona and Mount Horeb within a week of each other which has always been interesting considering that the two towns are about 10 miles apart from each other. This has never seemed to be a problem and this year was no exception. Was WAS different this year was that the two festivals swapped weekends and the Verona Hometown Days Festival took place before the Mount Horeb Summer Frolic for the first time. But again, like so many other factors, it seemed that the more things changed the more they stayed the same. We had another great show for a great crowd like we always had before. As always at Mount Horeb the sound and light production was provided by our old friends at Intellasound which is always a treat. Their lighting technician Tracy Roudebush was one of the first people I met in the business when I moved to Wisconsin back in 1985 and he's been a good friend ever since. Tonight's show went well and we look forward to making it six years in a row in 2016. --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Tonia: "I can't tell you how much fun I had with my kids and their friends last Friday night at the Frolic!!! Thanks Cherry Pie and Swener!!! You guys are awesome!!!" |
