A Word from Josh: This was our first gig inside a bar since May 17, a good indication that Summer is over. But somebody forgot to tell Mother Nature as unseasonably warm temperatures continued to make being outside downright pleasant. Attendance was a bit underwhelming but we still had a good time rocking it up for a vocal crowd of Fond du Lac's finest rock fans including a handful of people celebrating birthdays and a spirited bachelorette. We witnessed plenty of silly drunken behavior on the dance floor which helped keep us entertained as we entertained. The Fat Joe's staff seemed to enjoy the music as much as anybody and treated us great all night. We'll be back here in mid-December by which time I suspect Summer will be over for real. --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Ray Balles: "We ROCKED OUT to CHERRYPIE in Lena and had such a good time , we drove to Fondulac Wic. The band was AWESOME and even brought my fiancé, who was celebrating her 50th birthday, on the stage and really made us feel welcome. The plan from here is to catch more CHERRYPIE shows over the next few months...THANK GUY, you really know how to put on a show....see you in Madison at THE BADGER BOWL.....THANKS A MILLION, Ray." |
