A Word from Josh: We played at the Dan Jansen Family Fest for the first time last year and it was so awesome we knew we had to come back. With many of our festival shows taking place in adults-only beer tents, it's great to play an all-ages show like this once in a while which exposes the young people to the debauchery and hedonism of The Pie. After all, we are role models. We want to know that today's youth, America's future, will be well-educated on the values of knowing how to rock n'roll every night and part of every day!! John went so far as to get his first tattoo. We drew a good crowd for our first set. Then, the second set was packed beyond capacity. This led John to quip that next time we'll only play six songs in our first set so that we can get to the second set more quickly. The energy level in the crowd was amazing as people enjoyed being able to come out to an event like this after a long, long, long, cold, cold, cold winter. Yes, we had another great time at the Dan Jansen Family Fest and hope to do it again next year. --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? : "" |
