Day Two of the "Trollway Tour" and it could not have gone better. If last night's show in Mount Horeb was great (and it was) tonight's was OFF THE HOOK! As I explained yesterday, the neighboring towns of Mount Horeb and Veriona are having their festivals on the same weekend this year. Tonight, that didn't seem to matter as we rocked for what may have been the biggest crowd we've ever seen at this event. And they rocked us right back. Verona Hometown Days has been a wonderful part of the Cherry Pie tradition for seven years and it's so gratifying to return and still feel the love. Next year's show has already been booked. We'll see you all again on June 14, 2014. --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Angie: "Had a BLAST at the beer tent with Cherry Pie! It was an AMAZING time, hopefully by morning my ears work right again!" Rachel: "You guys rocked! Thanks for coming!!!" Jim: "My 1st Cherry Pie show and you guys were GREAT!!! Long time BVS fan and now a fan of you guys. Can't wait to see you again! " Shannon S: "You guys rocked!!! Enjoyed every minute of it!!!" Shannon H: "Loved watching you guys. Still not legal to be in the beer tent, but I can always hang over the orange fence. Lol" Bittersweeteus: ""What a wild ride over stony ground" as we cruise down the highway of Rock! Everyone has a lust for life and are hungry ones as we yearn for the sounds of CherryPie. CherryPie is on a "lighting raid" as they play those classic 80's rock songs which is like a intense "movin heartbeat in the witchin hour". And John, who has one killer smile, looks and attitude to match, and gets better and better with each passing year, puts on a "magical mysteria" as he's "runnin with the wind" and is like the drivin rain as he creates a "hysteria" throughout the crowd. CherryPie's music creates a restless rust inside of me that I can never sleep after a show and as I anticipate the next one. Two great shows back to back this weekend and all I have to say about Rock, is, I want it, I need it! CherryPie keeps Rock Loud and Rock Strong!!" 80s Rawk Chik: "Great set! A fun time was had by all... loved the confetti cannons (shooting out streamers instead) and the people in the crowd with the gigantic, LED (?) lighters for the monster ballads!! \m/" fans of the band: "As the years go by, you guys just get better with each performence. The talent is un-real. Fun to watch and the music is awesome!!! Thanks for making that weekend an enjoyable and fun time. See ya soon!" |
