A Word from Josh: This was the third consecutive year that we were booked to play at the big festivals in both Mount Horeb and Verona, two towns a mere 10 miles apart from each other. For years the two festivals took place on consecutive weekends. This year, for the first time, they are taking place on the SAME weekend! Why? We don't know, it might simply be a matter of June 1st falling on a Saturday which confuses the question of which weekend is "officially" the first weekend in June. In any case, we (and many others) couldn't help but wonder if both festivals would be hurt by this arrangement. We're scheduled to play the two festivals on back to back nights and we're determined to make the most of it. I dubbed the weekend our "Trollway Tour" and we promised to change the setlist dramatically between the two nights in order to offer maximum variety to people who would see both shows. Well, the first night of the Trollway Tour (tonight) is in the books and so far so good. Attendance at Mt Horeb may have been down a bit, but not much, and any time you mix a lot of people with beer and Cherry Pie you know it's going to be a crazy good time. So now we head the short distance up Highway 151 for tomorrow's show in Verona where we will be looking for more of the same. We're grateful that these two neighboring towns don't mind sharing their Pie. --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Zac: "I cant thank you guys enough for allowing me to get up and play a song with you, in my hometown nonetheless. A great experience I will never forget!! Thanks also for the encouagement and inspiration to be a better musician... Even if I am left-handed!" Jenni: "We had the best time rocking with you guys! Best band night in many years. Hands down!"
