A Word from Josh: Wednesday Night Live has been a nice tradition for us for nine years. Overall, the event is celebrating their 20th year and has expanded to an 11 week series with two bands each Wednesday instead of just one. Today's show got started at 5:30 with a nice long set from the Rabid Aardvarks. We took the stage at about 7:30. As has been the routine so far this festival season, the night was threatened with cool wet weather, but it wasn't enough to spoil our fun. The ample crowd was chock full of familiar faces as we rocked the pavilion deep into Wednesday evening. We're looking forward to returning to this stage three more times this Summer including on Monday, July 8 and twice during the State Fair in August. Raise the roof! --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Laurel: "Great show again. Met a couple new people. New lighting was meh. Joelle and I noticed you couldn't see Frankie well enough." Renee: "Im officially a Cherry Pie Groupie. Lets clarify.. Im the Merriam Webster Dictonary definition of a Groupie... not the Urban Dictionary definition. ;p" |
