A Word from Josh: This was our second time playing Scott and Shelley's birthday party so this time we knew what to expect... a heck of a good time! Once again the back room at Timbuktu was packed with rowdy party animals and once again The Pie rose to the occasion. Scott and Shelley have a lot of family and friends in Minnesota so they scheduled this year's event to coincide with tomorrow's home Packer game against the Vikings; Yes, there were several Viking fans in attendance and we were glad they were able to enjoy the show before tomorrow's bitter disappointment at Lambeau Field. Within the band, we were glad to welcome back Dann who missed last week's show with the Chicken Pox (yikes). He returned sporting a full beard which, I must admit, looked pretty suave; It was kind of cool having Captain Morgan on bass. We'd like to give a big Thank You to Scott and Shelley as well as the great staff at Timbuktu for their amazing hospitality all night. You really know how to treat a band. Rock On!! -Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Jordan: "FUCKIN ' AWESOME!!!!!!!" James: "great show" Renee: "As always...had a wonderful time. Love working when you guys play." |
