A Word from Josh: It was great to be back at BuBs for the first time in almost eight months. This was exactly what the doctor ordered; a show close to home with a great turn-out. The somewhat surprisingly large crowd really made us feel great and we played in our comfort zone all night. I think our giddy-ness showed and we had a great time. I strongly suspect we weren't the only ones. This was the kind of show that kept our stage tech Kevin busy with tasks ranging from the usual guitar changes and set list audibles to dealing with drunken patrons who's enthusiasm threatened to encroach on other people's good time. Yeah, it was pretty wild much of the night, just the way we like it. Several birthdays were being celebrated which is always fun. Later in the night a wedding reception taking place in the banquet hall spilled out into our party; hey, the more the merrier. Thank you BuBs for a great Saturday night! -Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Bittersweeteus: "Two shows back to back and both were a "wild ride"! The guys put on two shows that were fast and like "running with the wind". They throw out those tunes with such strength it makes your heart beat like a big brass drum. And John, who has a enigma about him and is so easy on the eyes, sings each song with "sparkin power" that it hits you "fast like a bullet from a gun" Yeah maybe one show didn't have much attendance as compared to the other, but these guys can take the best of both worlds and make them rock! I had a freakin blast, especially at the Bar, and enjoyed every minute of each show." Glen: "awesome show!" GNO: "Awesome show guys!! Girls night out with Cherry Pie @ Bub's, shaking it on the dance floor, is ALWAYS a good time. You gave it to us loud and hard & we loved every minute of it. John & Dirty Dann are F-U-N. Can't wait to rock out at another show soon." |
