A Word from Josh: The election is almost here, thus signaling the end of the stimulus to broadcasters everywhere with over a billion dollars spent on political ads in the Presidential race. "I can't wait to see TV commercials for normal stuff again," John commented to the crowd, "like boner pills." This was a big topic of discussion on a night that was otherwise rather ordinary. Nice bar, crappy stage, a decent show that was not as well-attended as we hoped, but the people who did come out treated us great as did the bar staff who kept us full of fine food and drink all night. We'll try to build the momentum as we play two more shows in the area in the next four weeks; November 17 at the Shack in Fond du Lac (awesome stage) and December 1 back in Oshkosh at Timbuktu. See you there! -Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? A surprised regular: "Frankie... where did that voice come from? You'll probably be required to sing more now! That was an enjoyable total shocker.. regardless of the crowd situation, there were still some of us that had an awesome time.. always do when we see ya! (regular ads? You better believe it! ANYTHING is better!)" |
