A Word from Josh: The Wisconsin State Fair is a wonderful event and over the last few years we've been honored to be one of its most in-demand bands. Headlining the Bud Pavilion on the first Friday night is a special treat and I think we delivered a show worthy of that position yet again. A lot of people commented on how hot it must have been for us on stage, but I don't think it was all that bad. Or perhaps it would be safe to say that, considering recent weather patterns in the area, it certainly could have been worse. Still, stepping out of the Pavilion into the open air during the break was quite refreshing. The State Fair has something for everybody and I expect to come back a couple times over the coming days to enjoy other bands and food. Then The Pie returns next Saturday for another special night of great rock at the Fair. We'll be changing up the setlist a lot for that show, so if you didn't hear your favorite song tonight, you'll probably hear it then. See you at the Fair!! -Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Dan: "Sweatty alright!" Cindy: "You guys nailed it always!! Great time! Even bought a tshirt! :) See you again SOON!!!" Nanci: "State Fair Day! Shopping! Food! On a stick! Cherry Pie! Awesome!" Matt: "Best one yet! Keeps getting better and better!!" Mari & Debbie: "It was a hot Wi nite, but the music was hotter. Favorite songs, Sweet Child OMine, Rock You Like A Hurricane & Oh Leah. Hope to see you soon." |
