A Word from Josh: This year's Fourth of July comes in the middle of a major heat wave across the Midwest which made for a Super-Dandy-Yankee-Sweaty-Doodle Good Time for those who braved the heat in New Berlin. Our show was preceded by shows by "Oldies" rockers The Richochetts and students of Anita's Dance Center. In addition, a nearby tent featured our friends The Toys. Indeed, entertainment abounded leading up to the fireworks at the end of the festival and we were glad to be a part of it. --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Jerrilynn: "was a nice time! thank you guys for braving the heat for us!" Bittersweeteus: "What a great way to celebrate the 4th of July. A holiday we wouldn't be celebrating if it weren't for those brave men and women who fought for our freedoms that we take for granted each and every day. And what a better way to celebrate it,is, with the PIE! They braved the heat with us to bring one awesome show to the stage. They poured out those songs to the point to where they sounded better than the original artists. Then there's John, who possesses the most manly wiles and sexy magnetism, kept everyone enjoying themselves and forgetting the intense heat the engulfed us all. Plus it rings true what John said, "Don't think about how hot it is and it won't be so hot". Despite the heat and the temptation to hear the other band this evening, I have to say, you guys rule and with your unique musical style and professionalism, I totally forgot the heat and that there was another band. Plus, no matter what challenges you guys may face, whether it be technical or the weather, you always come out shining like the rock stars you are!" Kathy: "what troopers you guys were . Great show as always" Katie: "OMG! You guys were friggin AWESOME!!!!:D" |
