A Word from Josh: This year Rooterpalooza decided to have "Country Night" on Saturday and "Rock Night" on Friday. We were pleased as punch to be asked to headline Friday's show and also delighted to be teamed up with our good friends Tattooed who opened the show. They played an awesome set of modern hard rock that went over well with the crowd. Our set got off to a bizarre start as we quickly discovered that my keyboards were transposed out of key with the rest of the band! Ouch, I have one word to say about that... "Jazz!" I don't know what must have been in the water, but things didn't get much better after that as we played one of the sloppiest shows ever. But, as we've learned before, some people like it sloppy and our musical imperfections didn't keep the crowd at Rooterpalooza from having a great time for a good cause. It didn't hurt when a series of guest performers contributed their talents to our show. Good times! -Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Eddie: "I gotta say that last night was another fun night of great music. You guys deliver the goods!! I'm especially stoked about you guys letting me share the stage with you again. It is a privilege and an honor and I thank you for it. Great guys, Great musicians...Cherry Pie is the REAL DEAL! God Bless!" Zac: "Great show last night, guys! I'm paying for it today!!" Johnny: "Great time!" |
