A Word from Kevin (roadie):
Night two of a doubleheader and we are off to the friendly confines of the Badger Bowl. Dave and I took notice of the full moon on our drive up, and I should have known it would be a sign. Well let's just say the night did NOT get off to a good start. Halfway through our setup, as I was arranging cases in my little cubby hole off the side of the stage, (don't you all wish you knew what goes on in that cubby?) and BAM! Stage power is out, sparks flew and I jumped about 3 feet in the air. A road case fell off and directly onto the main power cable, shorting it out and blowing the power. After a few minutes of surgery by Johann our light guy, and MANY sarcastic comments from the boys, we were back up and running. Well...the moon wasn't done yet, and neither was I. Moving the ladder to set up the screen, it hit perfectly on the back of John's mic, and down to the ground it went...loud noise, and one partially deaf and upset singer. 0-2 tonight. Needess to say after the show got started, and the great crowd showed up, things went much better. I was dreading the guitar toss at the end, just based on the rest of the night, but it went fine! A loud, enthusiastic crowd, a few hours of rock, and one drunk annoying guy (who I escorted out personally) later, we had ourselves a great warm up for the New Year's Eve show at the Bowl. Thanks for everyone who came out, and we'll see you in a couple weeks for NYE and Shane's last time being cool!     --Vetter Out!

P.S. To the drunk guy at the end of the night, and to everyone else who asks... I don't need help setting up, tearing down, or loading up. It will only slow down the process. I run a tight ship, but if you do want to help... we never will turn down drinks brought up to the stage!

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:
Were you at this show?
Would you like to comment on it?

Bittersweeteus:
"OMG! I haven't had so much fun in awhile! Surrounded by friends and family while dancing and rocking out to CherryPie. CherryPie's performance was strong and they raised the roof with their explosive rocking sounds. And John, looking down-right gorgeous in a attitude ridden shirt that displays a fierce looking serpentine and skull and, who also possesses an aura that's intoxicating and hard to resist, knows how to rock our world while utilizing every inch of the stage. I'll never forget this show because it left me in awe with the activities of the night that which in turn, makes me crave more of the PIE! ! ROCK ON!!"
