Let's Fest!

A Word from Josh:
It was great to be back at the Big Gig, especially with Cinderella, Heart and Def Leppard all playing on the same night. It was a perfect environment for any 80s Rock lover and we were thrilled to be a part of it. A brutally hot day gave way to a more pleasant evening as thousands decended on the south end of the Summerfest Grounds in time for our set. We rose to the ocassion taking command of the large stage and rocking Milwaukee for an hour and a half (seemed a lot shorter). John worked the venue masterfully with his studly charm. Naturally, the frantic nature of quickly getting gear on and off the stage resulted in a couple technical glitches along the way, but that's rock n' roll for you. We really appreciated the way the staff and crew at the M&I Classic Rock Stage treated us, further confirming that it's the best Summerfest stage to play on (your secret is safe with us). It's nice to see that some of that TARP money went towards something so much fun. After we finished our set I got a kick out of hearing the sounds of Heart drifting over the hill from the Marcus Amphitheater as we packed up our gear. They sounded great! After our work was done I met up with some friends in the crowd and enjoyed the Cinderella show. After that we made our way to the Jo Jo's Martini Lounge where we finished the night rocking out with our friends The Crisis. This was Summerfest the way it was meant to be.     --Josh
