A Word from Josh:
We've played this festival six times before and each time I've raved about its charm and hospitality. Well, lucky seven was no exception. The biggest difference this year was that not a drop of rain fell the entire time we were there. In fact, we've enjoyed awesome weather for all our festival shows so far this year (knock on wood). The environment before the show was perfect for throwing around a football. Although we weren't tackling each other John still managed to injure himself in the process of catching a pass, a less than glamorous moment for the former stand-out running back for Pecatonica High School. When the show started the pavilion was actually shockingly empty but it filled up steadily during the first set. In particular I know that Frankie, ever the optimist, never doubted that the late-arriving crowd would come through for us. I know that a few of our most loyal fans were MIA because of the Motley Crue show taking place down in Milwaukee, but we rocked out for a strong and appreciative crowd that didn't mind getting their 80s Hair Metal fix on a budget. By the end, the show was another smashing success. We made some new friends and the volunteers provided us with the traditional burgers, brats, fries and pizza as we packed up. For another year we all drove home from Theresa fat and happy.     --Josh

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:
Were you at this show?
Would you like to comment on it?

Bittersweeteus:
"What, not "Another Rainy Day" at Theresa. As long as I can remember, it's always has rained at this gig, but tonight, the sky was cloudy but not a drop in sight. CherryPie had a slow crowd building up, but after awhile, it seemed to fill up quite nicely. CherryPie's performance from start to end was "still cookin' with that old time long lost recipe" that was a mixture of 80's rock songs. And John, who has "that homegrown-down-home" uniqueness about him, put on a performance that was awesome and he persevered quite nicely through the show with his injury, (hamstring), from his pre-show football game. The show was great and rocking as always. You guys never disappoint. Plus, I have to say I really like the black CherryPie tshirt and the mini-poster. Like the bad-ass attitude that they both emanate. Great job on both."

Kara:
"great show, was my first one...:)"

Terri:
"Awesome show! As usual :)"

Major fans of the band:
"Had a blast and lots of fun at this show. Totally rocked! Hope John is recovering from his football injury------See you guys again soon!"

Mari and Debbie:
"You haven't heard from us for a while. Hope to see you at Summerfest."
