A Word from Josh:
Since last night's show in Sun Prairie we've traveled all the way across Dane County to the southwest corner and a village called Mt Horeb. Despite being a small town, they host a pretty big summer festival that draws attendees from far and wide. This was Cherry Pie's first time playing here and, as we suspected, it was a match made in Heaven. We played in a beer tent that was packed with rockers, party animals and other various types of fun-loving alcoholics. The first couple layers of people in front of the stage was 90% female and they had it going on all night. As Randy Jackson would say, "Mt Horeb is in it to win it!" as we enjoyed playing to an exciting crowd that was fun in ways that almost made us feel guilty (almost!). And it ain't over yet; Next Saturday the party moves up the road to nearby Verona that boasts a large beer tent of their own. We'll be changing up the set list quite a bit and plan to pretty much pick things up where we left off in Mt Horeb. See ya there!     --Josh

Night two of the weekend double-header. First time playing the festival and using a walk on sound and light crew. All things that make us nervous before a show... Let's roll... [more]

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:
Were you at this show?
Would you like to comment on it?

Bittersweeteus:
"Hot summer nights, got to love them. It's great to be outside again and enjoying the beauty that nature has to offer us. When the sun goes down and the night takes over, there's no other way to enjoy it but with the the sounds of CherryPie. They put on two spectacular shows that were filled with a collection of tunes from the 80's. CherryPie's performances from both shows were ecstatic and full of life. And John, who possesses the best endearing attitude and has a lot of moxie, certainly knows know how to bring the fans to the stage and make them feel one with the band. It's an awesome sight to see these guys do what they do best and are the greatest group of talented guys that together, make for one hard rocking, heart jumping, 80's rock coverband."

Kim:
"First time watching your band. You guys really rocked."

Steven:
"Lots of fun as usual!"
