A Word from Josh:
The Badger Bowl has shown us so many good times over the years, sometimes it can be hard not to take it for granted. But usually it's impossible to get complacent because it's just SO MUCH FUN. This was another one of those shows that had so much going on, it felt like a Three Ring Circus. Friends, drinks, birthdays, a bachelor party, Mother's Day, people buzzing about the Royal Wedding and Osama Bin Laden, the better-late-than-never arrival of Spring and, oh yeah, The Pie laying down those monster 80s hits. More hot chicks than you can shake a stick at (although I'd advise not shaking a stick at them, that's rude). It was simply impossible to be in a bad mood on a night like this. Madison, you ROCK! And that's why we're so glad to be playing so many Summer festival shows this year in this area. In fact, we have five festival shows in Dane county in the next five weeks starting with a big Syttende Mai celebration in Stoughton next Friday. And, if you have kids that you'd like to share the Cherry Pie experience with, don't miss Brat Fest on Memorial Day. We'll be rotating a lot of songs in and out of the setlist, so you can come to two or three of these events and experience a substantially different show each time. Did someone say "Summer"? Bring it on!     --Josh

"Diary of a Roadie"
By Kevin
There's a long-standing joke in the band that when a crowd doesn't show up, we joke that the venue "draws the late crowd." Well tonight, that turned out to be true. Let's roll... [more]

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:
Were you at this show?
Would you like to comment on it?

Betty:
"Great show."

Nikoo:
"Yes, great show guys, thanks!"

Bittersweeteus:
"Turn up the sound and rock till you can't rock no more! CherryPie was stoked and ruled the night as night time warriors they are. They kept the crowd energized and pumped till the end. And John, who has the best smile and is very adament in getting what he wants out of the crowd, knows how to adrenalize the crowd and turn them into a group of power-driven rock'n'roll fanatics. After the show ends, there's enough ambiance that lingers from all the head-banging and rockn', that the fans leave with a yearning to come back for more."

PIE FANS:
"Kick assed show guys! Keeps you coming back for more. Love those viedo diaries! Until the next time-Keep Rockin!"
