A Word from Josh:
We didn't know much about this event coming in. It's off our beaten path and we figured they hired us because we both have the word Cherry in our names. Well, it turned out to be a very delightful gig. Cherry Valley is a small town just southeast of Rockford. The festival was very family oriented with a lot of rides and activities for the kids. But that doesn't mean they don't know how to put on a rock show. They provided production for us (stage, sound, lights & backstage hospitality) that were second to none. It's easy to put on a good show when you're so well-taken care of. A few familiar faces trekked down from Wisconsin and west from the Chicago area, but most of the impressive crowd was made up of Cherry Pie newbies. Two bands played before us and we went on after 9 pm. Our show started with a bang as a fireworks display actually took place behind us during the first couple songs. That energy level was maintained for the next three hours as we had a rockin' good time with our new friends. Special thanks to Kerry Schaible for inviting us to this great Summer party.     --Josh

long time pie fans:
"Loved the show and the fireworks at the start of it-pretty neat. Was the 1st time in awhile for being in Ill.since we live In Wisconsin. You guys are amazing-the energy that John has and put out at this show was amazing. Am looking forward to the fall schedule coming out, but really enjoy those outdoor shows the most. See you soon----------"

Kevin & Debbie McDonald:
"This was the first time we saw Cherry Pie...what can I say OMG you guys ROCK! You hit every song on the head, never missed a beat. The show was incredible! I hope to see you come to the Rockford area again. You can count on us to be there. We loved every minute! Kevin & Debbie"

Debbie and Mari:
"It was a lovely cool night in Ill, CP came out with great enthusiasm and wowed the Ill audience. Loved the long set. Favorite songs of the night, Still of the Night, Rock You Like a Hurricane4 and Ah Leah. Come back very soon."
