This was our fifth straight year playing this event. It's always been good and a lot of fun, but this year was OFF THE HOOK awesome! The show started strong at about 7 pm, and by 8 the tent was packed as packed could be and it stayed that way to the last notes. I only wish the stage was higher as I'm sure many of the people beyond the first few rows had a hard time seeing us. But there was no trouble hearing us. Some people told me afterward that they were drawn to the show when they heard us from more than a mile away. This was our last Summer show and we could not have ended the season on a better note. We're off for the next couple of weeks as we work on some different material. We do have one more outdoor show at the State Fairgrounds on September 24. Beyond that, see you in the clubs! --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Jerrilynn: "love you guys !!!! :)" Karen: "You guys ROCKED!!! Thanks for a great show!" Kevin: "You guys were awesome..we had a great time and hope to catch you guys again soon !" Nancy: "It was fun!" Zeljan: "This show has been a end of the summer tradition for my friends and I for the past 4 years. This year, just like every other one, was unforgettable. See you on the 24th. :)" Jen: "Thanks again for making another birthday awesome for Mike you guys!!! Love you tons!!!" Bittersweeteus: "Even though the crowd was large and lacked some enthusiasm, CherryPie still put on a great show. They walked out of the season of summer shows like a roaring lion. And John, who with a little coaxing, got the fans in a somewhat rocking mood. It was a great way to end the summer season. Now as CherryPie enters the season of inside venues, will they enter it quiet or loud and strong. I'm looking forward to the new season because I'm curious to see what CherryPie has in store for us. Oh yeah, enjoy your time off. You deserve it!" G: "The show was great!! The intro to Turn Up the Radio was AWESOME!! Looking forward to your the next show." Jennie: "Wish could've stayed longer, was great to have you in my back yard for once and not so far away. Love the new website homepage, now I feel like a trend setter since I have the first cherry skulls shirt and tattoo with you in mind guys from last year. I remember Frankie taking pic of it. Awesome!" Melisa: "A+" |
