Oh my goodness, there was so much going on tonight. The main stage featured Firehouse, Warrant and Bret Micheals while other stages boasted the likes of Bobby Friss, The Now and Daryl Stuermer among others. Yet, our stage seemed like the center of it all. It was another hot and muggy Summer night, but that didn't stop thousands from joining us in the sauna that was Bud Pavilion. Plus, countless more were always watching from the Central Mall just outside the building where breathing was a bit easier. We battled through the heat with enthusiasm inspired by the immense crowd and put on a show that was downright lubricated. We are very thankful to the Bud Pavilion for giving us such a great opportunity to rock the heart of the Fair yet again. Indeed, the evening went down as another in an amazing list of awesome State Fair experiences for us. Programming note: We will be back on this stage as a part of Harvest Fair on September 24. --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Howard: "GREAT time!!! Thanks!" Traci: "Glad i got to catch a few songs after Bret! U guys rock as always!!" Kim: "You guys were awesome!" Teresa: "OMG you guys ROCKED the house, we had a blast !!!!! Can't wait to rock with you again." Fred: "Last night was the first time i got to see cherry pie. I had a GREAT time, will be going to see them again." Bonnie: "You guys were in prime form Saturday night! I love to dance the night away with you all." Michael: "Great show!" Bittersweeteus: "State fair is one busy fair. Lots of people, plenty of food stands, and assorted bands. Now, if you're into hard rocking music, CherryPie is the band to see. They are a group of guys, who together, make one awesome rocking band. They perform those 80's classic rock songs with strength and hardness. And John, their jovial and robust frontman, knows how to utilize the whole stage and entertain each and every fan that surrounds it. These guys are non-stop great entertainment from start to finish and you'll never be disappointed when you're standing in front of this outstanding hard-rocking coverband." Ashley: "I don't know if it was the heat or the drummers stick tricks, but something was making me super moist that night. I'll definitely be out to more shows! :)" |
