| A Word from Josh: Our winning streak continued tonight with the biggest crowd we've had at BuBs in quite a while. It was a classic deerhunter widows night with the women-to-men ratio even more lop-sided than usual. That was a treat for us as we played to this fun group that kept our engines going all night. We really like the stage here at BuBs and it's fun working new elements into our show here. Tonight one of the new elements was Shane's rousing rendition of "Fire Woman". We were also working on using a curtain and video projections. It's a constant on-going creative process. The excitement didn't end at the conclusion of the show. As we loaded out our equipment we witnessed a scene in the parking lot right out of "COPS" except the perp was wearing a shirt. We've got a short week coming up with a special Thanksgiving Eve show in Madison on Wednesday night. I'm already feeling the Holiday Spirit and I hope you are too. --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Jennie: "Wasn't at this show. Full schedule this weekend BUT! Glad to hear Fire Woman has been added to the list. One of my fav songs and with Shane rockin' it, it will be awesome! Will find myself on stage yet for that one boys!! Keep the camera handy Greg. Like the new photo setup too!" Melisa: "Why does this picture collage remind me of a page out of Teen Beat? But hey, you guys look great! Happy Thanksgiving :)" Kate: "Great show! Had a blast. My neck is sore from head banging, but it was worth it. lol" |
