| A Word from Josh: It's no secret that our Fall club season got off to a slow start this year with what I can only describe as a post-Summer hangover. But recent weeks have seen an uptick in attendance and I think that we have responded with some more inspired performances. Tonight I believe that only lingering doubt that we're back in the groove was emphatically washed away under a torrent of high-powered rock music. The evening got off to a smokin' start with a rare opening act. Tattooed rocked the crowd with some intense hard-edged covers by the likes of Drowning Pool, Marilyn Manson and Pantera. They're definitely an up-and-coming phenomenon and they brought many of their own supporters to cross-pollinate with our fan base. They were also professional to the core which really made the logistical issues associated with multi-band shows a lot easier for us to deal with on this night. We took the stage at about 10:30 and still managed to put on our full show by playing straight through without a break. I thought we maintained the energy level pretty well over the three-hour set for a bunch of old farts. The large crowd was really getting into the show, some more than others as one young woman in particular just couldn't stay off of the stage. Of course we feed off of that type of energy. Shane was so red hot that his guitar strap kept falling off of his bass every time he sang leads. Fortunately, most of our equipment worked just fine enabling us to reward a great crowd with a strong performance. It is certainly our hope that everybody went home happy. We'll be looking for that same energy the next time we come to Rooters which will be on the day after Christmas. Speaking of the harder and ROCK side of things, I can't get over Dave!! I have to say that he commands my attention every time I see him and the unbelievable talent he has is amazing! Looking hot as always Dave!!" Jennie: "Had a great time. Tattooed rocked and really started the nite off right. Like the new tunes. Happy Thanksgiving!" Kristie: "I was working a promotion at Rooter's this night, and it was my first time seeing you guys perform. Great job! :)" Fan: "Cherry Pie does not need an opening act. It should be all about the Pie !! :) Also, that last two opening acts that you had we did not like." HairNation: "3 words...More Eddie Money" Big Hair Guy: "Four words... No more Eddie Money!" Bittersweeteus: "Hell Yeah!!! This is what you call a one head-banging, drive you crazy night!!! Hard-rock coverband, Tatooted, started the show by getting everyone revved up for the night. But CherryPie is the one that kept everyone going head-strong till the end! CherryPie opened up with showing a silhouette of John singing, whom was behind a backdrop cloth, and once the opening song kicked in, the cloth dropped and this awesome band, CherryPie, was revealed to us. CherryPie's performance was raw and like a "Live Wire" that jolted and sent energy through each and everyone of us. And John, wearing an outfit that represented the mood of the night, used his unique style and outstanding head-strong aggressive attitude to charge us with a shot of adrenaline that kept us all stoked for the rest of the night. CherryPie ruled the night and to me, no matter what other band accompanies them, CherryPie will always be my no. 1 rocking coverband. No competetion in my book!" Roadgirl: "Great night of Rock & Roll!! We had a awesome time!!" Courtness: "Killer show as always! Sorry we had to bust out early...Jen was hurtin bad!" Rocker babe: "bad things: Tattooed - unfortunately just being loud and undressed will make you a "star." what's up with the canvas curtain and John sitting? no more opening acts - we were there for Pie. even if the other band doesn't get paid, don't waste my time."
