A Word from Josh: Lately at the Badger Bowl it's been "All About Eve" when it comes to Cherry Pie. This was the third consecutive year that we played here on Independence Day Eve AND Thanksgiving Eve. As was hoped, many people treated this day like a Friday and we drew a pretty good crowd. We also noticed quite a few musicians in the house including members of Lube, Supertuesday, Diary of a Madman and Hard Rock Recall. A couple of our friends even got up to play with us on a couple songs. When you have that much talent watching you, it's time to bring your A-game. I suppose that's why Frankie decided to open our encore by playing guitar. Gotta show 'em our strengths. It's too bad Shane left his Pan-Flute at home. Thanks to everybody who came out and shared the Holiday spirit with us. Now it's TURKEY TIME. --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Chris: "You guys EFFN ROCKED!!" Brigitte: "Great show as usual, with all the long hair dudes that showed up made me feel like for just a moment I was back in the best decade ever...the 80's!!!" hooked fans: "Talk about a fun night! Loved the opening of the show-was a very pleseant surprise. You made it a night to remember.I like to thank you guys-especially John for making my birthday a soecial one for me. You guys totally rock-and just keep getting bettter and better. Hard to believe you have been together almost 10 years. Congradulations on that mile-stone. Will be seeing you again hopefully real soon. And again, thanks for a fun-filled night. Until the next time-KEEP ON ROCKING!" Fan: "Hey !! Why don't you guys get that crazy/silly at Rooters ? We would love to see you guys do other stuff like Frankie singing or playing guiter, Shane playing the drums etc... Come on guys !! :) We luv ya !!" Bittersweeteus: "It didn't matter that the next day was Thanksgiving cause plenty of people turned out for a night of partying with the Pie! CherryPie sure knows how to bring everyone together with their awesome music and professionalism. And then there's John, who's one gorgeous man and also has the right amount of aggressiveness and perverance that it takes to control the crowd and bring the house down. With the way John goes into the crowd and turns everyone into a partying animal and being around friends that are fun to hang out with, it made for a night of uninhibited fun." |
