A Word from Josh:
It's been three weeks since our last show, the longest such break we've had since this time last year. But we weren't just lolly-gagging in the interim. No sir-ee, that would make us lolly-gaggers and we want absolutely nothing to do with any lolly-gaggery. Indeed, we put the time to good use by learning a bunch of new tunes. Well, they're not exactly new, I mean they're from the 80s; but we've never played them before... well, six of the eight. Anyway, I was pretty excited about the fresh material and I hope you folks liked it as well. In fact, we'd like to be scientific about it by presenting this Song Survey so that you can give us your feedback on the new tunes. After all, nothing says 80s Rock like a little market research. The temperature got pretty high in the ol' Badger Bowl and everybody was feeling the heat. We had a great crowd and I think they got a pretty good show. It even contained a public service announcement as the ever-conscientious John reminded everybody to put their clocks ahead and change the batteries in their smoke detectors. However, the show was by no means perfect. That much time off has a way of eroding our command of the material and we each took turns making major errors on songs that we've played many times before. As Bret Michaels said when he screwed up his own number one smash hit while performing with us last month, "At least you know that we ain't faking it!" Well, you folks certainly weren't faking it either and we really appreciate the support that we continue to get in Madison.     --Josh

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:
Were you at this show?
Would you like to comment on it?

Ms. Skicki:
"Had a blast!! You guys really put on a great show!!"

Rocker:
"One word "Winger"!!!!!!!!! Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

LongTimeFan:
"Thanks for all the new stuff! Wow, what a treat! As always, superb show gentlemen."

Chris:
"I have such a blast at your shows! You guys are totally awesome and I never regret coming all the way from south carolina to see you!!!!!!"

Bittersweeteus:
"CherryPie put on a great show, even though they seemed just a tad reserved. But it didn't effect their awesome performance. They performed each set professionally and made each song standout on their own. And John, looking hot and sexy as always, moved across the stage with sleek, smooth moves as he sang each song with his strong masculine voice. This show proved that spontaneity is always good, which I strongly agree with. They added quite a few new and old songs to the songlist, but the one that really stands out to me is, "No One Like You"! That song is on my list of top favorite songs. It's great to have you guys back after a small hiatus. I sure did miss you and it's true when they say, "You don't realize how much you miss someone unless you haven't seen them for awhile"."

Michelle:
"I must say...I love the new music. I am still waiting for the notary stamp on the contract so that you guys will play some Trixter!!!! See you soon!!"

Richard:
"Loved the new songs - "Up All Night" really took me back, as did "Seventeen." I dig how you guys make eye contact with audience members during the show. Also John getting the folks in back involved. Its that personal touch that makes a CP show special. And the rockin', of course! "There's No One Like You"!"

Fan:
"Great Show... I have to agree, all you guys are so nice to everyone that comes out to see you. It's so awesome just to let it all out and have some fun. Thank You."

William French:
"I had a hunch you guys would be bringing out some new songs, all of which were superb. Looking foward to some more stellar performances this spring!"

A Major CP Fan:
"Loved the new songs! The band was a little reserved, but the music was really good. Totally enjoyed myself, am looking forward to the next time. Keep Rocking!"

Danielle:
"Nothin' But A Good Time!!!!"

Eric:
"John, Thanks for a great show!!! I am glad to finally have a chance to take in the band while in town visiting family. Hope to see you again soon. br: - Eric"
