A Word from Josh:
After a recent evaluation of our song list, we picked three songs to practice in preparation for this week's show. One was a "RIP" favorite from the past, one was a favorite among fan requests and one was specific to the holiday season. We got to Kelly's II early and rehearsed all three songs so that they could be included in the show. Mission accomplished. Such is how a band like Cherry Pie operates. Yes, there is some actual WORK that goes on behind all the fun and glamour. But it's all worth it. Kelly's II has undergone some recent changes and, although the jury is still out on some of the updates, they still have one of the best stages we get to play on. The crowd was pretty awesome and a handful of folks close to the stage really let their hair down, at times becoming part of the entertainment. Hey, a PIE show is a multi-media experience. We hope you had as much fun as we did.     --Josh

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:
Were you at this show?
Would you like to comment on it?

Bittersweeteus:
"It's another typical night at Kelly's. The turnout was somewhat average and the entertainment, CherryPie, were their awesome selves. It took awhile for some of the patrons to warmup to the band, but once they got their drunk on, the music and the band members became quite appealing. The CP guys put on a great performance as usual and kept their rocking demeanor throughout the show. And John, the rock and roll clown he is, kept the show alive until the end. The show was good, considering. I was just wondering, though, whatever happened to those CherryPie originals? Did they get thrown on the R.I.P heap with the other great songs that CherryPie used to perform. Plus, as for the songs that some of the fans request at the shows, maybe if you flash those pearly whites and get somewhat demanding, John just might play them."

Jennie:
"Thanks for sharing the stage with me...that could be addicting :) I am sooo pumped you picked the song we requested to learn, Modern Day Cowboy, you rocked it as I thought you would. Awesome add to the set list. As for Winter Wonderland, I had not heard that version before and thought it was great! I would also like to hear the originals again. I was just getting to know them. Better yet, RECORD THEM!"

Stac:
"Thanks for playing Breaking the Chains for me, along with the shout out!!!! Its great that all I have to do is ask nicely :)"
