A Word from Josh:
It's been a pretty eventful couple of weeks in Wisconsin since our last show. An unbelievable series of thunderstorms has caused devastating flooding in some areas. After having our June 7th show in nearby Fond du Lac rained out, It was great to be back in action tonight. After all, we ARE the official rock and roll band of the Apocalypse. This was our fourth year back at the Theresa picnic, and I was glad to find that it hasn't changed much. We still really enjoy their small town charm and they still seem to enjoy our Bacchanalian Orgy of Hedonistic Rock Music. It's a marriage made in Heaven. Our production god, Mark, unveiled a lot of new sound and light equipment tonight, which totally kicked ass (after working a few of the kinks out before the show). The crowd responded in kind by kicking our ass all night. In a scene reminiscent of our early days, a mob of beautiful women stormed the stage for a song late in the show. We don't encourage that kind of thing anymore, but it's still fun to see once in a while. The hospitality of the staff, as always, was second-to-none. Overall, it was great show and a fun way to continue one of our treasured traditions. And we already have next year's Picnic penciled in to our calendars.     --Josh

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:
Were you at this show?
Would you like to comment on it?

me, me, me:
"Yep, the WOMEN Rbeautiful (see pic) Xcept 4maybe the 1 in the black leather pants with X-straps up the legs...ooops, that's John...long hair threw me...never mind."

Bittersweeteus:
"Man is it ever true that "Metal Health" will drive you mad!! And who better to put you into that rock'n'roll straight-jacket, is CherryPie. Their rock hard performance will drive you crazy. And John, who's sexy when he's assertive and shows off that brawny physiq1ue of his, can take any timid fan and turn him into a head-banging rocking machine. When you go see CherryPie, you're "Gonna Raise Hell" with the greatest 80's rock coverband in Wisconsin!!"
