A Word from Josh:
We were thrilled to be asked back to play this festival for a second straight year. At over 3,500 strong, this year's crowd was even bigger than last year. Indeed, this was a major rock show and we were stoked to deliver. And, as if that wasn't enough, we were also excited to bring back some songs that we had not played in quite some time. Add some fun radio promotions from both Z-104 & WJJO, perfect weather, great food and an ocean of beer and we had a night that just couldn't miss. The crowd really was incredible. With the groupies and gropers near the stage to the throngs of 80s rock fans singing, dancing, drinking and screaming as far as we could see down the length of the long beer tent, this was one of those crowds that rock musicians dream about. We ate up their enthusiasm and fed it back to them. If what we do looks like fun, there's a reason for that. Thanks Verona for another great time. 'Hope to do it again next year.     --Josh

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:
Were you at this show?
Would you like to comment on it?

Amanda:
"Great show guys. It's was awesome to start the summer off with a Cherry Pie show. We will see you at the State Fair. Thanks for the poster."

Angie:
"I just turned 35 so all this music reminds me of jr high and high school it was awesome!! You guys are amazing and to play for so many hours STRONG!! wow. It was a perfect night outside and the music was perfect!! Thank you for playing the music that everyone still knows and loves!!"

Corey:
"Growing up in the 80's was the best for me! The clothes, the hair, the videos on MTV (yes, they used to play them) and most important, the music. I have to admit that music on the radio today is missing something that was lost back when the last sold out show at an arena heard the final power chord. I was in need for some good music and then my wife said we should go to a local beer tent and listen to the band. The first song was played and I was hooked from that point on. If I had a dream CD of 80’s tunes, every song that I heard last night would have been on it! The band really played their songs as an art form and nailed the performance. I'm sure if local fire codes would have allowed them, there would have been pyro going off but the confetti was a cool added touch. The show was not only entertaining, it was the BEST 80's cover band I have seen to date and I will come to a Cherry Pie show again . . . . SOON! It seemed that everywhere I looked there were people dancing and singing along and pumping their fists. Hell, I even felt my fingers doing a little air guitar! Thanks for a great night guys."

Brenda Swanson:
"EXCELLENT show guys! I knew there would be trouble with that pole in the middle of the stage! I was amazed by Josh's pole dancing abilities! Lol! We could tell you guys were really having a great time up on stage! Until next time..."

Linda:
"Great Show as always. You guys really know how to pack the house, and keep it rockin' all night long!! Outstanding!"

Bittersweeteus:
"I have to say this sure was one phenominal show! It was perfect in so many ways. The weather, the rows of enthusiastic fans that seemed to go on forever, and of course, CherryPie. They put on a performance that felt as though we were going to "Fly" into the center of a rock'n'roll fantasy and never come out. And John, who is one sexy and gorgeous man, took everyone on a fantastic ride through the 80's rock era. I was more than impressed with some activities throughout the night and I loved hearing their new song, "Oh Sherrie". Plus I was thrilled to hear the R.I.P. song, "Metal Health". Because of the things that took place during the night and also reliving the era that was so dear to me, I left the show with a smile and an elated feeling in my heart that I'm sure will never leave!!"

Julie:
"You guys rocked. I'm so glad you guys exist....whhhoohoooo!"

Sara:
"You were awesome! I wish you were around all the time! Can't wait until next time."

Todd Lodge:
"Awesome night... Drank a bunch of whiskey and banged some cougars. Good times."
