A Word from Josh:
Whoever thought up the idea of Wednesday Night Live must be some kind of genius. I, for one, would have never expected this type of event to draw so many people, especially over an eight-week period. But indeed, the track record of this series over the last four years proves that it's a hit! We are thrilled to continue to be a part of it. The weather was excellent for tonight's show as a couple thousand people made their way into the State Fair Park for the early evening festivities. As in years past, the picnic-like atmosphere during most of the sun-soaked first set was clearly more relaxed that what we are normally accustomed to. But that's OK, we can be relaxed. But then, the usual Cherry Pie mayhem began to kick in as the sun set and we assaulted the crowd with our Metallica medley. That high energy vibe carried over to the second set where we took no prisoners. This was classic summer fun, with tons of people contributing to the excitement including many familiar faces, some of whom brought their kids to share in Mom & Dad's musical amusement. It's clear to see where the next generation of big-hair metal-heads are coming from. We hope to see all of them again this August when we return to this stage for two State Fair Appearences. 'See you then.     --Josh

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:
Were you at this show?
Would you like to comment on it?

Bittersweeteus:
"It's always a treat to see CherryPie during the week. Sometimes it feels like forever between shows and the one during the week tends to help break the anticipation of seeing them again. The CP guys always come on stage with a smile for everyone and the energy that puts you in a state-of-mind to want to party all night long. And John, who's very easy on the eyes and is very tenacious, keeps you mesmerized as he moves around the stage. No matter how many times I see these guys, they never cease to amaze me with their professionalism and that they love entertaining each and everyone of us."

Connie:
"Great show ~ you guys looked like you were having alot of fun!"

Tina:
"Thanks for a kick ass show!!!!"

Jennie:
"Hot summer nite, hot ass band. I really enjoyed the energy from all sides. Shane smokin' as usual, Josh's smile lights up the stage, keep rockin' guys. Powerful nite."

Motus:
"Wow, Seeing the Pie play on a beautiful summer day during the week nonetheless, was awesome!!! A friend who came with me was a Pie virgin, but she loved it, and wants more!!"
