A Word from Josh:
We're proud to be a major part of several Rooters traditions. We've played here 48 times, including the last three New Year's Eves. But the tradition that probably means the most has been "Rooterpalooza." Obviously it's for a great cause. But more than that, I've always enjoyed how multiple artists are brought together for the event and how the chemistry between them produces such musical synergy. Tonight we once again shared the stage with our good buddies Photograph. They kicked off the night with two outstanding sets that I enjoyed very much. Meanwhile I was bidding early and often in the silent auction. Our set began with a packed house and an amazing energy level. That energy took a hit, however, a few songs in when somebody accidentally kicked out a power cable behind the stage and forced a five minute delay in the show. Aside from that, I think things went pretty well and we were able to put on a pretty typical Cherry Pie show, which I think is a good thing... right? This show also marked the end of our "club season." Yes, starting next week we take the action outside where we'll be playing many fine festival shows over the next three and a half months. So grab some sunscreen and enjoy some Pie this Summer.     --Josh

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:
Were you at this show?
Would you like to comment on it?

Brenda:
"Hey guys great time. Great benefit. However I did not win the Washburn or my new tatoo, Oh well!"

Bottoms Up:
"Dear Rattlesnake: Since my ass grabbing has been on hiatus for, well it’s been a while – years, I’d like to thank your buddies because I am happy to say I am back to my AG-ways. However, my technique needs to be --- intensified. You see, without thinking, I just kinda grabbed instead of saying hello to, of all people, Johnny Spandex. Wow, he can jump high even when he is not singing. No sooner had he landed than he was flying up the stairs leaving his pants pocket in my grip. I almost had him until he hurdled the pool table . . . I was left in his smoke. AHHH, that was fun. For that reason, I say once again, thank you Snakefriends and John beware. You never know who or when. Snip, snip."

CP Fan:
"Great show! for a great cause ~ Keep rockin with your smokin hot selves"
