A Word from Josh:
After last night's epic journey to Illinois, tonight's theme was "Home Sweet Home." This was our 50th show at the Badger Bowl and that familiarity was quite welcome for this road-weary crue. This show had a little bit of everything... a great crowd, guest performers, sexy hi-jinx on the dance floor, birthdays, anniversaries and one of the freakiest bachelorettes we've ever seen. In fact, there were times throughout the night when Bride-to-be Jodi threatened to steal the show entirely, not that we minded all that much. During one of her visits to the stage she excitedly told John that her fiancé was concurrently partying hard at his bachelor party at a Milwaukee nudie bar. "Finally!" said John. "A girl who GETS IT! This one's a keeper!" John was acting jovial all evening, sharing bad jokes with the crowd at every opportunity. Over-all, I'd say it was a feel-good night. And why not? ...with Mother's Day chiming in at Midnight. Thanks to everybody who participated in yet another awesome Madison show.     --Josh

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:
Were you at this show?
Would you like to comment on it?

Misty:
"It was an honor to have been able to sing with you guys. I appreciate the opportunity that much more having had my biological father, family and husband whom I believe are all now your biggest fans. Lest I not forget my Lodi Girls plus a Moose and Melissa our very own CP virgin, rockin' out in the front row all night. =) We had a wonderful evening, I can't wait for Rooterpalooza on Friday!"

cindy:
"Awesome show as usual guys. You always rock the Badger Bowl like no other bar around. John, the keyboards were great, lose the black tape next time. Frankie, did you get sunburn under those lights? Next time we come up we will have to meet for toast!"

Curvgirl:
"Okay, I have to admit it 2 weekends in a row and I think I am getting addicted! :v} Time to gather a crew to get some rooms to do it all over again next Friday! Be still my beating heart! For a girl who never gets out much I think (other than my drum addiction) this could be a hard habit to break!"

Bittersweeteus:
"After a so-so Friday night, it sure felt great to be back in familiar territory and be surrounded by fans who accept and know how to rock hard with CherryPie. CherryPie's performance was so fantastic, that they kept everyone going nonstop until the end of the show. And John, who was himself and was enticed and consumed by the special activities that took place up front, gave his own splendid performance. When the show was over, it felt as though I just went through a work out because of all the dancing and fun I had in one night."

howard:
"As I said elsewhere, a little road trip never hurt anyone! 140 miles and a great time at the Badger Bowl...Leinies at the bar, Nascar on TV, Cherry Pie on the stage, and good company at the table! Add in a bonus bachelorette and cheap gas, and it adds up to a great Saturday night! Throw in great hospitality and an awesome breakfast, and the weekend is complete! Thanks to everyone for everything, and see ya soon!"
