A Word from Josh: With Thanksgiving a few hours away we got our first tangible snow of the season here in Madison. Would the foul weather keep people away from a hot rockin' time at the BB? Of course not. We enjoyed another great Madison crowd and we rewarded their tenacity with some of the best music ever written. The vibe was great right from the start. Along the way I invited my friend Phil to join us on drums for a song and we also helped our buddy Katie celebrate both her birthday and her newfound single-hood. Of course there were many other friends in attendence along with the usual throngs of rocker dudes and unbelievably beautiful women. Still, this was a Wednesday night and, with everybody looking forward to their big Thanksgiving/family/food/Packer game plans tomorrow, the room did thin out a bit more than usual down the stretch. The dozens of hard-rocking die-hards left at the end of the night carried on the spirit right to the last note. I just hope they all made it home safe. Happy Thanksgiving everybody!!! --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Rick: "You guys Rocked!!! Can't wait to see you guys again. Love the 80's Hair band stuff. Thanks for playing Twisted sister at the end. I was in the front row singing along!" Bittersweeteus: "This is so cool to have another CherryPie show within a short time after the last one. This way you don't have time to settle down from their last hard rockn', blood-pumping show. This show proved that these guys can play one song after another with a blink of an eye and keep the night rolling on. And John, who has a confident and aggressive nature that seems to flow from him as he leads everyone into a rock'n'roll fantasy. The molding together of a great song list and an outstanding performance of the CP guys made for one impressive night." Keri: "Great show boys! Happy Turkey Day!" a CP fan: "You guys just keep getting better all the time. Can't wait to see you play again. Keep Rockin!" |
