A Word from Frankie: The headline in the paper this morning read, "Cherry Pie rocks Germantown like a Hurricane!" Clean up crews have been at it all day sifting through the wreckage. That’s right! We tore that shit up! Shelters are being set up for everyone in attendance last night that was affected by the ROCK storm. President Bush is considering sending in the National Guard. Food, beer, and hairspray are being flown in by helicopter. And weather.com is currently showing the storm heading towards the Madison area, which is scheduled to hit Wed. Nov. 21st around 9:30 pm. OK... Last night was awesome, and the turn out was great! There were a ton of birthdays being celebrated, a lot of beer being consumed, and like always, a ton of sexy ladies in the house! All the ingredients that make a great Pie show. AND when you’re at a Pie show you’re not just seeing a kick ass rock band, you’re creating memories with family, friends, and yes, one-night stands. Ahhh... beer is good! I'm terrible at remembering names, so please forgive me. We had a certain gentleman ask if his girl, who was celebrating her birthday, could get up and sing a song with the band. Being the great bunch of guys we are, we accommodated that request. So the birthday girl belted out the first verse of "Wanted Dead or Alive" before turning the mic back over to Mr. Johnny Spandex. Happy Birthday! It was also the debut of our new stage setup. Yes, bigger is better, and you should expect nothing less from the Pie. The Packers won today, and the Bears lost; life is good! I’m sure a lot more happened last night, but I’ll leave that to you... The fans! Please share a memory from last night’s storm in our comment box. -- This is The Trash securing.
Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Rockin Reed: "You guys rocked!!!" fan: "Song list was great! The crowd was great! Everything rocked. Thanks for another fun night guys" A Girl: "The Trash forgot to mention the kick ass new drum riser. Kudos to Dave, Shane, Frankie and Jody for building it!! It looks great and I'm sure it will be put to good use. :" Bittersweeteus: "The first thing I noticed when the CP guys appeared on stage was that there were two platforms strategically located on each side of the drumset. With this added feature, it made CherryPie larger than life. And John, who's very appealing to the eye and one sexy man, made use of those platforms as he strutted his stuff across the stage as he entertained the fans. With the way these guys perform at each show, I can see how you can be "Chained" to their musical addiction." Fan 2: "You guys are simply awesome! John - we want to see more of the buff arms - no sleeves next time! Josh - your smiles are intoxicating! Casey - sorry I ditched you -I didn't want to-see ya at Calhoun Station this Sat.?" Big O: "Once again a great show. The raised stage...very cool, sweet show open. Great view of Frankie's office...of course you can hardly see it with the colorful display of thongs...sound was awesome as usual along with the set list. My 12th show of 2007 with 2 months to go!. (Trash you are the man, you are on the money every show)" Melisa: "I really dig the new set-up. Good show!" a face in the crowd: "Shane and Dave are just as buff and rock my world! ! !" Jeff: "First time I saw you guys and you put on a hell of a show!!! I was on the phone in the restaurant when you started and heard Journey playing and I thought to myself "good they haven't started yet cause they're still playing a cd of separate ways." How shocked was I when it was you playing! Damn you rock! I also me a georgeous woman that night. Hope she turns out to be a great surprise like you were that night. Thanks for a great night, can't wait to see you again!" |
