A Word from Josh:
I certainly don't think of Cherry Pie as being a group of "bad boys." I mean, while we do pay homage to some rather unsavory characters on stage, we are actually pussycats who could never be an affront to anybody... or so I thought. Tonight I noticed an elaborate sign on the wall of the dressing room listing "band rules" for performers at the State Fair. Hmmmm, I'm pretty sure that sign wasn't there a couple of weeks ago when we played on this same stage for Wednesday Night Live. So, I read the sign and it occurred to me that we had actually violated every one of these rules during that earlier WNL performance. Coincidence?... or were we so hardcore bad-ass that they felt the need to publish these rules only after our vulgar display of rebellious rabble-rousing. I guess I must admit that part of me likes the idea of being a renegade band. But tonight we were good boys and obeyed all the rules. And guess what... we still had a great time. Well, that's what a hot crowd at the State Fair will do for you. We enjoyed all the excitement you would expect on a Friday night with a million things going on all around us and huge masses of people attracted to the Budweiser Pavillion for some smokin' 80s Rock. And that's just Act One. We'll be back doing it again, same Fair, same stage, next Saturday (8/11). We're sure to change up the set list quite a bit, so here's a great chance for you to get an extra helping of PIE!     --Josh

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:
Were you at this show?
Would you like to comment on it?

Bittersweeteus:
"Isn't it something that when you for the gusto, you accomplish a lot and it never would have happened if you held back. Just like when CherryPie guys put on a show, they put everything they have into their performance to make sure everyone is rockn' hard way after midnight. And John, who has the most appealing predominant attitude and the stride of a proud lion, can keep the most outlandish patron under control. I enjoyed every aspect of the show and then some. But I am curious about a couple of things. One, whatever happened to some of those sensual songs like, All Lips n Hips, Put the X in Sex, and Smooth Up in Ya. And, two, is Bed of Roses the only love ballad that came out of the 80's rock'n'roll era. I know Bon Jovi isn't the only group that made a love ballad."

Motus:
"Great energetic show once again. I wish I could have been at the Wednesday night live show to see the rules being broken, but I will definitly be back on Saturday the 11th at the fair for round two of the PIE!!!"

Debbie & Mari:
"Great to see all of you again. The heat didn't stop your energy level. Loved hearing Ah Leah, Long Time and Still of the Night. Wish we could have been up there on the 11th. See you soon."

Allison:
"Thank you for making my 13th birthday the best one ever!!!!!!!!! Mr. Big (John) you are the best uncle/godfather ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
