A Word from Josh: I remember the early years of this band when we couldn't get any church festivals to take a chance on us. I guess they figured we were too heavy, or maybe we worshiped Satan or something. But then that glass ceiling cracked and now we have become regular fixtures on the church fest scene around Milwaukee. St Paul's is the latest addition to our "Drinking for Jesus" tour and it proved to be a typically good time. As is often the case at these events, the show started in the big tent during daylight while a positive family atmosphere still lingered from the afternoon of games, rides and food. Eventually darkness set in and a more rockin' ambience took hold and a large crowd partied hard with us right up until it was time to stop. Indeed this show featured the best of both worlds. We appreciate St Paul's for having us and we hope to do it again sometime. --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Becky: "You guys were awesome!!!" Ben Jammin: "Great show, they keep gettin better" Bittersweeteus: "Some of the requirements for your family orientated shows are that you have to be inhibited and very aware of one self. But that doesn't stop the CP guys to put on a show that even gets the kids in on the action. Their performance seems to bring the rock'n'roll rhythm out of both the young and the old. And John, with his humorous antidotes, puts a smile on anyone's face. It was definitely a fun-filled night!!" Anna: "This flatlander as you so kindly called me really enjoyed the show. More road trips are in my plans this summer." |
