A Word from Josh:
This was truly a "Tale of Two Sets." The first set was downright forgettable. We started at 7:30 as the summer sun still shined on a beautiful day. Not many people were interested in hanging out inside the beer tent at that point. Then, to make things worse, we suffered a power failure during our third song. Our skilled crew realized that it was not simply a matter of flipping a circuit-breaker, but rather the power source was profoundly flawed. So they had to run a bunch of cable across the ground and tap in at a different location. They did so very efficiently, but it still took about 10 minutes. We finished the first set as the sun was setting. As the skies darkened, large crowds gathered around the adjacent softball field in expectation of the festival's traditional fireworks display. We stood behind the stage and enjoyed the fireworks along with everybody else. When that was done, we quickly went back to work, launching into set number two under the lights and with a completely different vibe than before. Within a couple of minutes the tent was completely packed with people and we all had a rockin' good time the rest of the night. Part of the fun involved celebrating Dave's birthday. During the show John realized that he could use Shane's bass cabinet as a platform to stand on and rock out on, reminiscent of Bruce Dickinson. I thought that looked pretty cool. Maybe we should set up the stage that way more often. Thank you Mukwonago for another great time.     --Josh

Bittersweeteus:
"Inside a beer tent surrounded by a carnival and a baseball game, there's a crowd of patrons being rocked by an awesome band, CherryPie. As they make it into the first set, they're intervened by an hindrance that effected both the band and the crowd. Isn't it something that an hindrance, like electric, can keep both from doing what they want to do. The show continued until break, then afterwards, we all had our attention drawn to an array of fireworks. The band ended the show with an awesome song set and a great encore song. And John, who has a sexy smile and a well-tuned physic, had a challenge to face himself, over came it, and put on a performance that only a professional like him can do. Great Show Guys!!"
