A Word from Josh: Another successful show at the Badger Bowl was just what the doctor ordered. There's something quite comforting about the hospitality and reliability of our longest-standing venue. Temperatures shot up as the room filled up with a great mix of fresh faces, old friends, new friends and vaguely familiar acquaintances. The show went well and the awesome response of the crowd was classic Badger Bowl insanity. One of the most crazy people participating was a bachelorette named Donna who came up on stage and strutted her stuff with a sass seldom seen this side of Mary Todd Lincoln. Lots of other insane hijinx was going on including multiple requests for "Ah Leah." What can I say? Be careful what you wish for! --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Geri: "The show was awesome!! I traveled from Green Bay to see Cherry Pie and it was well worth the drive! They had a kick ass show. I brought a couple CP virgins and they were blown away. They are more and more entertaining every time I see them! Keep it up guys and PLEASE come back to GB!!" Clownboy: "Yo Shane, nice seeing you and the gang last night. The show rocked............and so did all the hotties!! See ya out there.... " Tami: "One word...Wow!! Okay maybe a few more words...I saw you guys for the first time lastnight, only got to stay for one set...but you guys rocked!!" cindy: "Great time at the Badger Bowl! Great show as usual. See you guys next weekend at the Brat Stop!" Bittersweeteus: "Badger Bowl is a rowdy bar located on the edge of Madison. It seems as though some of the patrons are already geared up due to watching their favorite teams and rooting for them. Now when you add CherryPie to this, you get a room full of hard rockn' partying animals. The band fuels the crowd with the way they use their instruments to shoot energizing sparks throughout the bar. Then there's John, wearing that fiery red shirt that makes him hotter then hot and his Slayer shirt that matches his impressive aggressive attitude, took the already crazed fans on a ride that they will never forget. This is one show I will never forget due to things that are too many to mention. Oh yeah, I would like to give my observation on John's dance moves with the bride-to-be, but on second thought, I think I'll keep that one to myself!" Tony: "I took my fiance to this show on our first date and I'm pretty sure she thought I was the coolest guy in the world for doing so. Thanks for helping me woo my girl fellas!" |
