A Word from Josh: We started our 2007 on a good note with a typically spectacular show at the Badger Bowl. There were no signs of a "New Year's Hangover" as a packed house rocked as hard as ever. The night was filled with the usual hi-jinx, birthday celebrations, groping, etc. Boy, I never get tired of that stuff. Some of our closest friends came out from the Milwaukee area despite a steady snowfall throughout the evening. I also want to give a shout out to members of the band Rockfist who came all the way from Minneapolis to catch our show. That's unbelievable! Technically, the show went pretty smoothly, but I did suffer one embarrassing snafu toward the end. Dave and I were playing the guitar duel that we usually do to begin the encore when the battery in my wireless transmitter quickly started to go dead. By the time I launched into the opening chords to "Rock You Like a Hurricane" my guitar sounded like a limp tin can. Aaaargh! But, oh well, you know what they say... This kind of thing happens to all guys once in a while. --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Ryan (Rockfist): "Had a great time seeing ya'll last night. WELL worth the drive from Minneapolis. Hope to catch another show soon. Take care!" Karen: "Saturday night was my first Cherry Pie experience. I thought they were awesome!!!! Can't wait til I can get to another show." Bittersweeteus: "It's hard when you have cabin fever and you go to a place that is so warm and all you want to do is go outside but it's too cold. But CherryPie provides an outlet by helping you open the door to your caged Wildside. Their way of playing one hard rockn' song to the next, doesn't give you a chance to relax. And John, the Aggressive Perfector, makes sure that the show flows smoothly that you don't even notice how your wildside is wearing down. At the end of the show, you're content and go Home Sweet Home, where you can close your eyes and slip away." |
