A Word from Josh:
It was great to be back at the Big Gig after a one year absence. Our time slot ahead of classic legend Foreigner along with great weather ensured a massive crowd for our set, the kind of Summerfest show that all local bands dream of. This was our first time on this particular stage and, I must say, the management and crew did a great job dealing with us on both a technical and personal level. Behind the scenes, it was definitely the most pain-free Summerfest experience we've had yet. On stage, well, it's always a big rush to be able to play for such a sea of humanity. So suitable for the 80s-style ego-driven rock star performance we simulate so convincingly ;-) Yes, everything pretty much fell into place for us on this evening and all was right with the world.     --Josh

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:
Were you at this show?
Would you like to comment on it?

Leslie & Mari:
"It was a great night to rock!!! We were on our feet as soon as the first song began, but the show was way too short. See you soon."

Donna:
"I thought Rico was hot!"

Chelsey & Gary:
"First time seeing you guys at summerfest before foreigner but that was awesome! We WILL be sure to come out and see you soon."

Stacy:
"I was so excited to see you guys! It has been a while since I saw you last, but you guys are still rocking hard. I hope to catch you again soon!!"

Bill:
"Something about an outdoor show that really makes you guys rock. Wished there could of been a second set, but there is still plenty of summer left. Keep up the intensity!"

Crystal:
"OMG!!! The show was great. Me and My mom were there right in first row. We both had fun and it was a blast to see you guys in concert."

Chet Atkins Diet:
"The first time I saw you guys was at Summerfest in '01. It was the first time I ever drank beer, because its the only thing Summerfest had to drink. By the end of the day, they were goin' down pretty smooth. Been seeing you guys semi-regularly, and drinking beer, ever since."

Debbie and Gary:
"What a great show!!!!!!!!!!!!! You guys kicked some ass. Fantastic preformance all around. You guys really know how to have a great time. I feel everyone there had a great time also. Hope John can get his pants fixed. Take Care. Planning on seeing you at State Fair."

Tim Peterson:
"Saw you guy's for the first time at Summerfest (i was the one yelling out play Iron Maiden) And what a show, I've been told you guy's rock, and you guy's do, you just blew me away... I was surprised at how many people just sat there , get off your asses and rock out, these guy's FREKIN ROCK.... looking forward to Richfield day's and the State Fair gig's"

Bittersweeteus:
"Whether you are early or late to see CherryPie at their own show or opening for another band, you are guaranteed to have a great time. CherryPie lead the fans down the road of 80's rock'n'roll and when the CP guys handed the baton of 80's rock over to Foreigner, it was up to them to keep the fans following down that same road. The CP guys performance was great due to their diverse ways of playing their instruments and using their vocals. John, with his strong confidence and aggressive attitude, never let up til the end. I've never been to Summerfest, but thanks to CherryPie, my first time was impressive and memorable!!!"

Sarah:
"Hey Guys.. I was at the show on the 5th and it was also my first time ever going to SummerFest.. I am from Iowa and had never heard of it until a girl from Racine, WI told me about it. Your concert was the first one I saw that week and it was absolutely amazing. You guys totally rock and made it a very memorable time for me! Great Show and hope to see you guys perform again!!"

ashlee :p:
