A Word from Josh: This turned out to be pretty successful debut for us in this club located a few miles north of Milwaukee. The Circle B Recreation Complex, as they like to call it, includes a bowling alley, a bar and a banquet room. We played in the banquet room which was conveniently connected directly to the bar. It's actually a pretty cool set-up. A pretty good crowd showed up and they were pretty wild which was fortunate because we were very tired following an early morning appearance on a local TV show in Milwaukee. The crowd definitely helped get the most out of our performances with their antics which included heavy metal air-guitaring, bunny hopping and lots of dirty dancing. There were some very attractive young ladies up front who got pretty creative with their sexually suggestive moves, some of which included making use of our mic stands and monitor wedges. Yeah, there's nothing like a real-life "Girls Gone Wild" going on in front of you to keep a guy awake. During the show John acknowledged the news that Richie Sambora and Heather Locklear are splitting up. Indeed, I'm sure the entire Bon Jovi nation is grieving over this. We did our part to help numb the pain by promoting heavy drinking while rocking out to some great tunes. At the end of the night it felt like a Saturday, no doubt because of our TV performance earlier, which made it seem like we had already done a full weekend of shows. But, it was indeed still Friday night and we've got another show tomorrow night at Rooters. Woo-hoo, BONUS! I can't wait. Until then... Zzzzzzzzzzzzz. --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Jill: "We had a blast wish you would of played a little lynyrd skynyrd and sorry for sexually assaulting your band equipment with my dancing anyways will be coming to more shows!" Jeanine: "Greg and i had a super time with you. We had to drive from Waukesha and it was well worth it. I know you guys were really tired but you guys had wonderful energy and kept on moving. You were wonderful on the channel4 news in the morning. I wish i could have been with you there. I was so very proud of you being as it was that you guys were like celebrities! Looking forward to seeing you at Rooters. We are going to have a good time!" Donavan and Becky: "Hey guys! Awsome show on Friday night! What a way to end a work week, with the Pie! You guys were great as always and my wife had a great time, too! Maybe I should wear my Iron Maiden shirt for you guys more often, huh? Until the next time, take care, guys!! CHERRY PIE ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!" john: "YOU GUY'S ROCK. SEE YOU AT BUBS" Bittersweeteus: "This was a great a venue to break the chain of CherryPie playing at familiar places. It was a huge banquet room with the stage at one end and the area to hold the multitude of fans. The CP guys performance was so outstanding, that it took you back through the rock of ages. John, showing off his never-ending stamina, proved to the fans that rock'n'roll will never die." Chetyenne: "You forgot to mention that Josh's litte stuffed animal was also doing some pole dancing of his own! Me and my friend Veronica definately enjoyed the show. Next time just let us be on stage a little longer before you kick us off-trust me it would be well worth it!!!!!!" |
