A Word from Josh: We've got a great summer schedule ahead of us. Before it's over we know that we are sure to have a few monster shows that will be quite memorable. Honestly, we did not think that this would be one of them. Boy, were we wrong. A couple of thousand people came out on a Wednesday night and helped us welcome in the summer in true Cherry Pie fashion. This was an all-ages show and, contrary to what some might believe, we pride ourselves on being a faimily band. We were glad to see many children having a great time all evening long. Some were really getting into it at the front of the stage, making funny faces at us and air guitaring. One little girl sat on the side of the stage and drew pictures of us as we played. But none of this prevented all sorts of "grown-up" fun from happening as well. There was plenty of the usual drinking, partying and groping going on. So, I guess you could say it was the best of both worlds. The staff of 97.3 FM The Brew were out in full force getting down with their bad selves. They are always a hoot. Overall, this was certainly one of the most fun shows we've played in a long time. The turn-out and enthusiasm was very heartening, especially considering we have several shows coming up in this same area. Next Friday (June 17) we'll be at Rooters just up the road in Waukesha, and then the very next night we'll be back here at the Wisconsin State Fair Park for West Allis Western Days. By the time we return again for the actual State Fair in August, we hope you won't be sick of us. --Josh Click Here for the photo gallery of this event on the Brew's website Were you at this show?
