Oh, What Fun!!! |
A Word from Josh: Our light man Andy spent the last couple of weeks in Hawaii. Tonight he returned to the Cherry Pie world, bringing with him about eight inches of snow. Certainly the frightful weather frightened away a few people but not nearly as bad as we had feared. Personally, I think that snow storms are God's way of telling us to chill out, stay at home and watch cable TV. But the Cherry Pie schedule doesn't operate on that principle and fortunately our fans don't either. In fact, the crowd was pretty darned great. Many of them appreciated the return of "Lay Your Hands on Me" which we had not played in quite a while. Poor Dave was battling technical problems with his guitar rig much of the night. But, overall it was a very good show to cap off a pretty cool day. Earlier John, Dave, Shane and I went into the studio of 97.3 FM The Brew in Milwaukee. We were on-air guests of the Lynch & Meyers Morning Show for over an hour. We had acoustic guitars with us and played several songs on the air, taking requests from listeners who called in. It was great fun and a super way to spread the word about the Pie even more. --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Rockin Reed: "What a way to kick start the new year! Never would of known there was a blizzard going on with the heat inside the Badger Bowl. The Pie tore it up once again!!!!!" Bittersweeteus: "The band and the fans stood up to the snowstorm that was trying to hinder us and showed it that We weren't going to take it! The Cp guys were well prepared and played with such exhuberance, that they turned the place into a Paradise City. John, who Can't Drive 55 and the rock'n'roll man he is, Rocked everyone like a hurricane. And to add to it all, the red-hot outfit that accentuates his form and his exhilerating moves, just showed that he can Shake it all night long!! I know we didn't want the night to end, but we all had to eventually go our own Seperate ways." Pete Weber: "That was one of the most blistering concert sets I have seen in quite a long time. Cherry Pie was bowling the whole night at Badger Bowl. Let's get some pictures to remember the joyous event the brought warmth back to Madison. "Thats probably how you Bowl."" |
