A Word from Josh:
Pardon me if I seem distracted, but I just upgraded my satellite TV programming package. Yet, here it is... a MONDAY, and I have to tear myself away from the Martha Stewart Channel to play a GIG!? Well, it's a good thing that the show turned out to be pretty good. Hundreds of people threw prudence to the wind and rocked with us into the night, despite having to drag themselves into work the next day. We saw quite a few characters in the crowd including a group of women in fancy leopard-skin cowboy hats and a charismatic young boy who delighted onlookers with some breakdancing during the first couple of songs. "Damn," said John. "We work our asses off to put on a good show and then we get upstaged by a kid!" A bit later Shane continued a theme that began at Sheboygan last Friday by trying on several different pairs of eye-glasses. Not just the cool shades, but prescription ones as well. I decided to join in the fun and put on somebody's thick black plastic rimmed glasses. Somebody said I looked like Garth from Wayne's World. I thought more along the lines of Buddy Holly on acid. Either way, I guess you could say I made a "spectacle" of myself! (ha ha) Obviously the State Fair is a big event and it brings in people from all over. For a second show in a row, we had people all the way from Ripon rocking with us. If we can't go to Ripon it's nice to know that Ripon will come to us. As the evening grew later it was feeling less and less like a Monday. Things got pretty wild, especially toward the end, and it really got our adrenaline going. We finished the show looking forward to taking the stage again 20 hours later. Easily our best State Fair experience yet (knock on wood).     --Josh

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:
Were you at this show?
Would you like to comment on it?

Laura F:
"We just happened to stop at the Bud tent for some beer and happened to hear AWESOME 80s rock being played...decided to stick around...GLAD WE DID!! Ya'll are the best! And the way you worked the crowd (ALL of you) was great! Hope nobody got hit too hard in the head by the flying beach ball!! That was fun too!! Was nice meeting you, Rico! :)"

Jewelz:
"Lets see, the weather was gorgeous, CP sounded great, and the gang was huge (Kat, Dawn, Tammy, Poison, Laura, Stacy, Erica & Hubby, and The Waukesha Boys to name a few!) Only wish I could have danced more, but even with a swollen foot I managed to make it and still have fun!! Special Thanks to Dawn and Doug for all the piggy back rides :)"

Kat:
"I had an absolute blast!!!it was great to see alot of the usual Milwaukee bunch.....Poison,Jewelz,Laura,Stacey,Waukesha Boyz, great to finally meet Erica and hubby.Glad everyone had fun with my "cheapy cherry" glasses, stopped at Hot Topic on the way and when i saw those i just knew they'd be on Shane sometime during the night! I made a mistake "once again" of running late so i didn't eat and proceeded to drink heavily with Poisonchick :) well needless to say after 10 Bahama Mamas i was trashed and knew i was when i grabbed Shanes a** and licked some friend of the Waukesha Boyz face!!! Yikes sorry next show Kat will eat first!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Vince Vetter:
"Yea, so I was the one Kitty licked, but it's ok, we all do stuff with a little liquid courage in us. Boys, you rocked hard and fast, which is the way we like it."
