A Word from Josh:
It's a good thing that this show turned out to be so much fun, because some of us needed our spirits lifted. John arrived in a foul mood having had to work all day (unusual for a Saturday). I spent much of the afternoon working with the crew to fit our new light show on this awkwardly-shaped, small corner stage with limited success. As a result, we all had to deal with very close quarters while performing, especially Shane who barely had enough room to inhale. Things didn't get much better early in the show as we suffered two complete power failures on stage (during "You Give Love a Bad Name" and "Talk Dirty to Me") due to a weak ciruit breaker behind the stage (apparently the electrical system was installed by Diebold). But then, as I made my way around the crowded room during the break, I was repeatedly reminded that, despite what we were going through with our technical problems, everybody else was having a great time! Indeed, the whole band seemed to return to the stage for the second set much more relaxed and we really had a blast from that point forward. And why not? The crowd was a typically great Dry Bean group, with many beautiful women pressed up against the stage and loud roars of approval after every song. The cramped space on stage did not prevent several lovely ladies from strutting their stuff with us during "Girls, Girls, Girls". In all, this night marked a triumph for good time rock-n-roll. I suppose that's what the Cherry Pie phenomenon is all about.     --Josh

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:
Were you at this show?
Would you like to comment on it?

Kittykat:
"Wow what a difference a club makes!!!! after seeing CP play in the Milw, Kenosha, Racine area only we decided to make the long haul up to Mad-town to check out a show up there and i must say that Dry Bean crowd is WILD!!!! the guys looked and sounded great as always but seeing them on such a small stage was weird!! Josh had gotten a slight hair cut BUT WHAT HE LOST FROM HIS HEAD GREW ON HIS FACE!! and it was so odd to not see the infamous head set!! Josh, John and Shane all had their very own sets of groupies~ or should i say grabbies since the girls were grabing their legs and using very suggestive gestures to get the guys attention. Also a different aspect was that girls could get up on the stage and dance and get wild, at the clubs we frequent to see CP security steps in right away! "Jasmyn" your the best!!! love ya hun!!!and thanx for introducing us to that little cutie she's a doll just like her daddy!!!! ;) Missed seeing Dan on top of the amps and his crazy antics! but all in all the show was a cool experience!!!!"
