A Word from Josh:
This was the biggest crowd we've ever drawn to this room but, honestly, that's not saying much. Still, it was nice to play to a pretty full bar. They weren't the rowdiest bunch we've ever seen, but the folks behind the bar approved -- describing the audience as "well-behaved" and "good tippers". One particularly notable thing about the evening was the presence of long-time fans Lonnie and Christ who were celebrating their 14th wedding anniversary with some family and friends. John dedicated "Faithfully" to them and then I promptly botched the piano intro because I had the wrong patch up. Sorry 'bout that. This was my second night sans headset and during "Round and Round" I found myself on the opposite side of the stage, so I sang my backup vocals crouched down on Shane's mic which must have looked pretty silly. But, not nearly as silly as the sight of Shane across the way jumping up and down trying to get his face near my mic. John couldn't hide his amusement and actually had trouble singing. I want to thank Jessy who drove all the way from Stoughton and helped me with my hair. Not only did she tease it up in lieu of the vacationing Jas, but she also cut it for me a couple of hours before showtime, trimming off several inches of split ends. Hey, have you checked out our Summer schedule? It has been quickly developing into our strongest Summer ever. I don't know about you, but as the weather continues to warm up I'm getting pretty psyched about those outdoor shows.     --Josh

"I just want to say thanks to the band for making are 14th wedding anniversary awesome you guys allways put on one hell of a show No matter how many times we seen you, we can NEVER get tired it's just the awesome energy you guys bring show after show It was nice to see a good turn out for the optyx. And thank you RICO for the sticks for my friends. And all you awesome guys for taking the time after the show to sign them and meeting them all, and my little sister. And it was nice to see small hand full of CP FANS and the rest of the new crowd."

Idabud:
"All I can say is what an awesome show! Thanks Cherry Pie!! Hope you come back to Racine real soon!"

Jayette:
"The show was fantastic! This was my first time seeing Cherry Pie and I could not believe how well they sounded for one band playing so may diffent songs. Outstanding!!! Thanks for coming to Racine! I hope you guys come back.. I will bring more of my girlfriends next time!!!! Thanks again"

Bittersweeteus:
"For a quaint place, it sure was rockin!!! I liked the way the stage was layed out along with the dance floor. The guys played hard and sang alot of my favorite songs. John looked great, as always, and he tried real hard to work the crowd. It took a couple of songs for me to get up on the dance floor, but once I got up there, I had alot of fun! I know I wasn't going to see these guys until May, but they are way to habit forming to stay away from. Thanks for a great night."

G:
"You guy were great, as always. I was with my friend "Tammy" celebrating her birthday. I must say that I was alittle disappointed that she didn't get her ass smacked with a Cherry Pie sticker. So was she! But, we have a great time either way. See ya in May."
